On Friday, Oct. 16, Downtown Phoenix’s Arizona Center is set to host Empty Bowls, an event benefiting Waste NOT, which helps the one in six Arizonans who experience food insecurity.
Empty Bowls is Waste NOT’s annual signature event–which has been safely reimagined for 2020–that aids people who struggle with hunger. Participating artists and members of the Arizona Clay Association will create and donate handmade bowls. Attendees will share a meal in a beautiful outdoor setting before taking the bowl home.
Hundreds of beautiful handmade bowls will be available for a minimum donation of $20, and all proceeds benefit Waste NOT. Extra bowls are $10 each.
Masks and social distancing are required. The event takes place from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 16.
