breast cancer awareness month

Phoenix Restaurants Honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, these Valley restaurants are serving up special sips, pink treats and more to raise funds for local nonprofits that serve breast cancer research and patients.

For the entire month of October, Maple & Ash in Scottsdale will donate $1 from each sale of its The Featured Affair specialty cocktail to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, matched by Patrón. The Featured Affair is a spin on the Illicit Affair, made with Patrón Silver.

All month long, Z’Tejas Southwest Grill in Chandler and Scottsdale will be selling pink awareness ribbons for $10 per ribbon. With the purchase of a ribbon, guests will receive a complimentary watermelon strawberry margarita or a strawberry lemonade (zero-proof) cocktail. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Singletons, a local nonprofit dedicated to helping single-parent families battling cancer.

The Henry

Until Oct. 31, enjoy pink pastries at The Henry while giving back as $1 from each treat will help the American Cancer Society fund and conduct cancer research, support patients and spread the word about prevention. Complete the breakfast with one of The Henry’s fall coffee specials—the Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew or Pumpkin Spice Latte—available through November.

Throughout the month of October, eegee’s, which recently opened a Valley location in Gilbert, will bring back its popular raspberry lemonade eegee flavor with a portion of its proceeds going toward the UA Cancer Center. UA Cancer Center serves the entire state of Arizona, focusing on patient care, clinical research, prevention, education, outreach and training.
