Arizona Toy Drives to Support This Holiday Season

The holiday season is all about giving back. And this year, there are a number of Arizona toy drives to support which give back to local kiddos, all while giving you the chance to squeeze in some spirited holiday shopping for a good cause, too.

This Christmas, Crumbl Cookies franchises are partnering with Phoenix Staff for a holiday toy drive which aims to support the Harvest Compassion Center. Through Dec. 17, Crumbl Cookies visitors are encouraged to bring in new toys, along with gift cards of $10-plus value, to select store locations—including Scottsdale, Ahwatukee, Queen Creek, Signal Butte, Red Mountain Mesa, Mesa Groves, Arcadia, Norterra and Tempe. As a thank you, customers will receive a free chocolate chip cookie at participating locations following their donation.

During the holiday season, Salt and Lime Modern Mexican Grill transforms into the Feliz Navidad Cantina—a Christmas pop-up concept that sees the Scottsdale-based restaurant transform into a holiday wonderland complete with floor-to-ceiling holiday decorations, festive food and beverage offerings, plus weekly appearances from Santa and the Grinch. Feliz Navidad Cantina is also partnering with Maag Toy Foundation for a special holiday toy drive that will be hosted on-site through the holiday season.

Through the end of December and with the help of Arizona’s Children Association, both Z’Tejas Southwest Grill restaurants will be collecting Gifts of Hope, which will be donated to Arizona children who are living in foster care. The Children’s Association is hosting the Gifts of Hope toy drives in community with local businesses as a way to promote community involvement and donate gifts to not only families in need, but also children currently in Arizona’s foster care system.

Arizona Helping Hands is hosting its 23rd Annual Hope for the Holidays holiday toy drive. Through a simple donation, the organization is able to continue their efforts in supporting Arizona children throughout the holidays. In fact, a $65 donation alone provides two new toys and a new book to a child in foster care, according to the organization’s website.

The Hometown Heroes 2021 Toy Drive is happening now through Dec. 18 and is hosted with the help of AZTV Channel 7, Desert Financial Credit Union and Valley of the Sun United Way. Each donation to the Hometown Heroes toy drive will benefit both Arizona military families and other children in need.

Toys for Tots is always a reliable toy drive to support during the holiday season and beyond. Last year alone, over 39,000 toys were distributed to children in need throughout the greater Maricopa County area. The Marine Toys for Tots organization is now accepting toy donations at select drop-off locations through Dec. 15.

Grimaldi’s Pizzeria is partnering with Childhelp for its annual holiday toy drive. All Grimaldi’s locations in Arizona will be accepting donations of new and unused (nonviolent) toys and clothing on behalf of Childhelp until Monday, Dec. 13.

Angry Crab Shack is hosting its annual Shriners toy drive benefiting Shriners Hospitals for Children. All Arizona locations are participating with boxes setup inside to collect new, unwrapped toys through Dec. 22.

Scottsdale Quarter has partnered with Arizona Helping Hands to host its Second Annual Holiday Toy Drive benefiting children in foster care statewide. New, unwrapped toys and children’s clothing can be dropped off during mall hours at the donation center inside Santa City in The Quad now through Dec. 19. Can’t attend but still looking to contribute? Donate online here.

Now through Dec. 17, Village Health Clubs & Spas is accepting toys at all four of its locations (Phoenix, Scottsdale and Chandler) to benefit Arizona Helping Hands.
