25 Men Who Think They Can Cook

Childhelp Presents 25 Men Who Think They Can Cook

In an effort to support Childhelp, the nation’s oldest and largest nonprofit advocating for abused and neglected children, local athletes, celebrities and professional chefs team up for the nonprofit’s annual fundraiser: 25 Men Who Think They Can Cook. The culinary showdown runs through June 31.

Brought to you by the Childhelp Phoenix and Flagstaff Chapters for the fundraiser’s 10th year, 25 Men Who Think They Can Cook began as an in-person event in 2011 and has evolved into an event that showcases the hidden culinary talents of men, women and children from all over the country. Held virtually this year, the month-long event is designed to bring food and community together to raise money and awareness for children in need. Videos displayed on each celebrity chef’s page feature at-home cooking demos with a little bit of levity and a lot of love for Childhelp. Open to all individuals in the community, anyone can sign up to become a celebrity chef by registering for their own fundraising page.

Celebrities volunteering their secret recipes, time and talent for this event include Arizona Cardinals GM Steve Keim, former Arizona Diamondbacks coach Mike Butcher, WWE star Mickie James, James Beard nominee and Food Network competitor Chef Stephen Jones, Maricopa County Sheriff Paul Penzone, Childhelp founders Sara O’Meara and Yvonne Fedderson, Aunt Chilada’s chef and owner Tiffany Allison and many more. Each chef will be looking to beat last year’s reining champions, Butcher and Keim.
