In celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8 (and throughout the month of March), these Valley retailers and restaurants are giving back to locally based women’s nonprofits. Here’s where to shop and savor in honor of a wonderful cause.
W Scottsdale
Throughout the month of March, W Scottsdale’s signature AWAY Spa (pictured) will be donating a percentage of beauty services to local women’s organization, Fresh Start Women’s Foundation. Its mission is to provide access and resources to help women achieve self-sufficiency and use their strength to thrive.
Kendra Scott
Kendra Scott is donating 20 percent of purchases on March 8 and March 9 at any one of three Arizona locations (Scottsdale, Chandler, Tucson) to Dress for Success Phoenix. Additionally, support the cause by shopping online on these dates using the code GIVEBACK-BNWNL at checkout. Once added, “Shop For Good” will appear in the cart.
Pedal Haus Brewery
In celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8, the female leadership at Pedal Haus Brewery will be brewing a special beer, a Desert Classic Pale Ale. When it’s sold, a $1 per pint of beer will be donated to the Pink Boots Society, a nonprofit with a mission is to support and encourage women in the alcoholic beverage profession through education (scholarships), networking and professional support.
Fox Restaurant Concepts
Fox Restaurant Concepts is encouraging donations at each of its 27 Arizona restaurants throughout the month of March. The company will match up to $10,000 of all donations made. Guests will have the option to add a $1, $2, $5 or $10 donation to Fresh Start Women’s Foundation at the end of each purchase starting March 1. Participating Arizona restaurants include:
