Weft & Warp Art Bar + Kitchen
Gather your hive and head to Weft & Warp Art Bar + Kitchen, where honey is the star of the show in a special pop-up menu. Start your meal with the refreshing Bees Knees Cocktail, a blend of gin, honey, and lemon juice garnished with a lemon twist. Pair this with the whipped feta crostini, a delightful combination of fresh figs, pistachios, and a drizzle of honey, and end your meal on a sweet note with burnt honey gelato, a rich and smoky dessert that melds caramelized honey with a hint of bitterness. Bee Workshops
For those buzzing with bee curiosity, Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Bungalows offers two exclusive busy bee workshops led by expert beekeepers from Alvéole. The first, From Hive to Honey Jar, taking place on Sept. 6, allows guests to participate in an artisanal honey extraction. The beekeeper will assist as participants uncap honeycomb cells, spin honeycombs in a centrifugal extractor, and filter raw honey before jarring and labeling the creation. This complimentary experience will take place at 3 p.m. on Sept. 6 at Weft & Warp Art Bar + Kitchen.
Later in the month, on Sept. 26, experience a day in the life of a beekeeper during the Meet the Bees workshop at Cactus Garden. Alvéole keepers will guide guests as they open and inspect a buzzing beehive, offering a closer look at the fascinating lives of these essential pollinators. Participants are invited to touch, smell, and taste the hive’s products and take part in photo opportunities during this complimentary event. This outdoor experience will take place at 3 p.m. on Sept. 26 at Andaz Scottsdale’s Cactus Garden. To learn more about these workshops, visit hyattexperiences.com.
