Manicures and pedicures have long been a wonderful way to pamper yourself and feel good about your appearance. There is just something about having fresh, shiny polish on our fingers and toes that makes us feel good. But finding a great manicurist is not always easy.
Eve at Amomi Spa has been doing nails for 20 years. Eve does the standard manicures and pedicures and is an absolute pro at the new hot trend – Shellac. Shellac, which is said to stay shiny and chip-free for two weeks, is more of a process than the standard manicure. If not done right, the polish will peel or ripple. Eve has mastered the process and is so meticulous in her work. There is never a sliver of polish on my skin and the color always comes right to the very edge of each nail – it’s perfection.

I am the type that likes to spend my time with her venting (relaxation is not in my vocabulary), and she makes a great sounding board for my latest gripes and issues.
I love dark colors for my nails, so black is a common default for me. The Shellac gives it a super-glossy shine that truly lasts (see photo). If you are more adventurous than myself, you will find a very wide variety of shades to choose from.
