17th Annual Childhelp Drive the Dream Gala

Childhelp, the nation’s oldest and largest nonprofit advocating for abused and neglected children, will celebrate the 17th Annual Childhelp Drive the Dream Gala on Saturday, May 15, at the Arizona Biltmore Resort in Phoenix. The sparkling celebration will mark a significant triumph for Childhelp and the 11 million children and families served over more than six decades of caring.
Proceeds from the event support the lifesaving services provided to abused and neglected children in Phoenix through the Childhelp Children’s Advocacy Center of Arizona dedicated to Linda Pope (CCCAZ). Ivy Ciolli, this year’s chair, along with co-chair Tracy Katz, chose this year’s theme – “Don’t Let Their Dreams Be Just Dreams” – as a way to honor childlike wonder while calling attention to the pressing issue of child abuse and neglect..
From 5:30 to 11 p.m., the Childhelp Drive the Dream Gala will whisk guests away, treating them to an evening of fine-dining, cocktails, dancing and world class live entertainment. Melissa Peterman from the hit TV shows “Baby Daddy” and “Reba” will emcee this year’s event.
Dr. Stacie J. Stephenson and Mr. Foster Friess will be awarded the Childhelp Woman of the World and Childhelp Man of the World awards, respectively. The Chandler-based RV dealer SportTruckRV will receive the Childhelp Nellie Jackson Award, and George Argyros Jr. will be posthumously awarded the Childhelp Spirit of the Children Award.
