2023 BetMGM Entrepreneur Speaker Series

The State Forty Eight Foundation is proud to announce the return of the 2023 BetMGM Entrepreneur Speaker Series presented by OGeez! and Drink in AZ. The free four-part educational and community-building event brings together some of Arizona’s foremost founders, leaders, and experts for weekly sessions that aim to educate and empower budding Arizona entrepreneurs at any stage. Following the conclusion of the series, eligible attendees will be given the chance to seek a small business grant from the available fund of $50,000. The series will take place on Sept. 13.
In 2022 the State Forty Eight foundation awarded a total of $25K to nine Arizona businesses, helping them with startup costs such as operating expenses, marketing campaigns, website development, new equipment, and more. This year the organization has teamed up with BetMGM to double the award amount in hopes of impacting even more individuals.
The sessions will blend expert guidance and storytelling, offering access to valuable professional resources and tools shared by series speakers. Those attending in person will also have the chance to network with fellow entrepreneurs and engage with members of the local business community during the networking segment of the event.
The series will be hosted at Walter Studios in Downtown Phoenix. Beginning September 6th, the organization will host weekly sessions through September 27th and will feature the following topics and speakers
