Arizona Animal Welfare League’s Pet Science Basics

September 26, 2020 @ 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

$85
pet basics

Do you have a budding veterinarian in your home? Teens 12 to 17 can join Arizona Animal Welfare League this Saturday, Sept. 26, for an in-person Pet Science Basics course from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Teens can learn from a licensed veterinary technician about the anatomy and physiology of the kidneys and how they work to keep balance in our bodies. In this hands-on lab, your future vet will perform laboratory tests utilizing the same equipment used at your veterinarian’s office.

Due to the current climate, class sizes are kept very small and a mask/face covering is required. Registration is $85.

This course is taught at Arizona Animal Welfare League’s Education Campus, 15 N. 40th Place, Phoenix. For more information and to register, visit aawl.org.
