Dog Mother’s Day Brunch

This Mother’s Day, Match Market & Bar is celebrating human dog moms with a special brunch event featuring fun activities for them and their four-legged babies. The event will be taking place on Sunday, May 14, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at FOUND:RE Phoenix Hotel.

Moms can begin their special day with a delicious meal; Match will be serving up the following brunch specialties in addition to its regular menu:

Bananas Foster Dutch Baby $14: cast iron baked Dutch baby, roasted bananas, rum caramel, powdered sugar

Brûléed Monte Cristo $16: pit smoked ham, Gruyère, huckleberry leather, thick sliced milk bread French toast, burnt sugar

Arizona Style Frittata $15: nopales, green chili cheddar, Spanish chorizo, sweet onion, sautéed kale, avocado, candied jalapeño

Lobster Egg White Omelet $26: roasted red pepper, spinach, Old Bay hollandaise, arugula salad, toast

MATCH Breakfast $12: two eggs any style, breakfast potatoes, bacon, toast

Egg Sandwich $12: soft scrambled eggs, American cheese, pork belly, house-made aioli, brioche bun

Ooey Gooey Brunch Cheeseburger $14: double smashed with fried egg, bacon, onions, muenster cheese, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, chef’s sauce, milk bread bun

Chilaquiles $12: sunny side up egg, tortilla chips, guajillo salsa, chicken tinga, pico de gallo, cotija, cilantro crema

Doggos can also enjoy a special meal with options just for them, including:
Woof Bowls made with organic brown rice, sweet potato and choice of chicken or beef, $10 Doggie Dessert — house-made banana and peanut butter ice cream with whipped cream and a pup cookie, $6.

Complimentary activities for both mom and Fido include:

• Dōga (Dog Yoga) – Don’t miss dōga designed for Mom and Dog bonding, fun and laughs, this dōga class is taught by CorePower instructor Christina Mierzejewski. Doors open at 9:30 a.m.; class begins at 10 a.m.
• Dog Painting Session — Dog children are invited to make a special gift for their moms during this painting session, available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Astrology and Tarot Card Readings for Dogs from Cosmic Hour — Astrology can explain a lot about dogs. Moms can find out if their pet is a lazy Taurus who loves to nap or a chatty Gemini who never stops barking, or moms can receive a Tarot card reading to get insight on their furbaby. Available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. In addition to four-legged children, human children are also welcome!

Price: $20 per person plus tax. Each ticket includes a welcome mimosa, Dōga, a painting session with your pup, and an astrology/tarot card reading from Cosmic Hour. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
