First Friday at FOUND:RE featuring Niki Woehler

On Friday, November 1, in conjunction with Downtown Phoenix’s First Friday Artwalk, The FOUND:RE Phoenix Hotel unveils “A Little Bit of Me,” the latest exhibit by local artist Niki Woehler.

This is the second time Woehler’s art, which is a mix of resin on wood and acrylic on canvas, will be on display at the FOUND:RE this year alone.

Woehler says each new piece in her latest show tells the story of what she was feeling the moment she created it. “This exhibit is a story of color and texture tied to raw emotion, from intense sadness to exuberant elation — and everything in between,” she says. “These were mostly done on smaller panels so the feelings were fresh, without time to dissipate.” Woehler has recently ventured into the world of abstract figurative work in an effort to tell her stories more clearly. She will be displaying several new works and some smaller pieces as well that guests are welcome to purchase.
