“Lakesiders Only” Birthday Bash

Lakeside Bar & Grill in Peoria will celebrate its 15th anniversary with their annual “Lakesiders Only” birthday bash on Saturday, May 6.

From 11 a.m. to midnight, guests are encouraged to dress in beach-themed outfits. The party will feature an all-day happy hour, including $6 glasses of select wine; $4.50 well cocktails, beer specials; and $1.50 off shareables, excluding bone-in wings. Guests can also participate in all-day contests to win prizes and enjoy live music.

For those who don’t know, the name of the local sports bar is an inside joke with the neighborhood and derives from the fact that it was one of the few options on the way to Lake Pleasant Parkway when it opened 15 years ago.

Lakeside touts wall-to-wall televisions, a family-friendly atmosphere, daily happy hour from 3 to 7 p.m., and weekday lunch specials. There are also two large dog-friendly patios and live music on Saturdays. During NFL season, they offer Sunday breakfast, all-day happy hour and games via NFL Sunday Ticket.
