“The Wanderers” Event

The Valley of the Sun Jewish Community Center in Scottsdale will host a fun, special event in honor of the 1979 classic cult film, “The Wanderers,” on Nov. 13.

Local Mesa author, Steve Bergsman, has written a fascinating, new book about “The Wanderers” and the history of teen-gang movies. Come watch the film on Nov. 13 at 1 p.m. and meet Bergsman to learn more about the inspiration and insights that led him to write “The Wanderers – Killer Teens, Rebel Teens, Gang Teens and the Evolution of the Last Great Greaser Feature.”

There will be an author Q&A and book signing. Chocolate egg creams and light refreshments will be served. Cost is $10 members/non-members. Advanced registration is required.
