CIVANA Wellness Resort & Spa Has Reopened

CIVANA Wellness Resort & Spa has finally reopened its doors in Carefree. The destination wellness resort invites guests to take the ultimate escape in a luxury environment of enhanced safety.

Few things sound as enticing as a spa getaway at this point—an escape that encourages rest, relaxation and reconnection with yourself and nature. CIVANA Wellness Resort & Spa has reopened its doors near Scottsdale to offer all of that and more to its guests. And with the health and safety of its guests at the forefront, CIVANA has instilled new guidelines into every aspect of its experience, including temperature checks via the innovative, no-touch DeCurtis Shield program, added cleaning time for housekeeping, limited occupancy and protective gear for employees.

One of the biggest changes that returning guests will notice is the welcoming of new Executive Chef Scott Winegard. Chef Winegard heads up the culinary offerings at Seed, CIVANA’s cafe and specialty market open for breakfast and lunch with a massive patio (the avocado toast is amazing!), and Terras, the resort’s signature dinner destination with a fresh and modern take on regionally inspired cuisine. Tip: Start your Terras repast with the sweet-and-salty honey dates, with smoked cashew and wrapped in nori—you won’t be disappointed.

CIVANA’s wellness offerings and classes have also been reimagined to allow guests a safe yet healing way to become happier and healthier during this stressful time. The wellness lineup includes morning mediation in the rose garden, twice daily desert hikes (weather permitting), outdoor sunset spin classes, transformative sound-bowl and star gazing sessions on the yoga lawn (all socially distanced and open air) and more.

To celebrate its reopening, book a stay at 20 percent off the resort’s all-inclusive package and $400 resort credit per night (based on double occupancy). Book your stay here.
