Kyle-Kinane

Q: Where are you from?
A: Addison, IL

Q: How long have you been doing comedy?
A: Almost 13 years.

Q: How was your first gig? Was it immediately gratifying, or did you bomb at first?
A: First gig was a cattle call festival audition at Zanies in Chicago. I didn’t do well, but I was happy I finally tried it.

Q: What can comedy goers expect from you at Stand-Up, Scottsdale! this weekend?
A: I say set the bar low and maybe we can all be pleasantly surprised.

Q: What is the source of inspiration for your comedy?
A: Smarts and farts.

Q: How do you test out new material?
A: I guess you do it the first time, and then again after that, until it’s not new anymore.

Q: If you had the chance to do a comedy show with three comedians, living or dead, who would they be?
A: Uncle Pecos, Mr. Methane, Bob and Doug Mckenzie (they count as a singular duo).

Q: If you were a Muppet, which Muppet would you be? Which Muppet would you date?
A: I’ve always held “Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem” to be one of the best band names ever created.

Q: What are your thoughts on the Snuggie?
A: How dare you ask me that?

Q: What’s an interesting fact that people wouldn’t know about you?
A: I’m always within three feet of a firearm at all times.

Q: Where can people find more information about you? Anything coming up we should know about?
A: I think you know too much already.

See Kyle Kinane at Stand Up, Scottsdale! Comedy Club March 23 and 24.
