20 Years of Sapporo Celebration

In 2001, Sapporo opened in Scottsdale—bringing a new and exciting location for food, fire and fun. Now the spot is celebrating its 20th year on Nov. 5-6 at Kasai Japanese Steakhouse.
Chefs gave people a thrill with the nightly fire shows at the teppanyaki tables. The bar and patio, and epic sushi were just a few things that Sapporo was known for. It’s been 20 years and while Kasai Japanese Steakhouse now sits in its place, the level of service, quality of food & beverage, and the red-hot teppan experience continue to entertain diners from all over the world.
That’s why, Kasai is giving a nod to its roots with a 20 Years of Sapporo celebration this Friday, Nov. 5 and Saturday, Nov. 6, at Kasai Japanese Steakhouse—home of the original Sapporo. The iconic Scottsdale restaurant was THE place to be back when it opened in 2001. Kasai is opening an hour earlier on those days and from 3 p.m. to close guests can enjoy half off all appetizers, wine, beer, cocktails, sake and select sushi rolls at the bar and patio.
People can also text “20YRS” TO 66866 for a chance to win one of five $250 Kasai Gift Cards. The drawing will be held on Nov. 10 and all winners will be notified by email.
