March 24, 2021

scottsdale quarter red cross

In honor of Red Cross Month, a section of Scottsdale Quarter will be lit up in vibrant red in support of the American Red Cross this March. Community members can show their support by stopping by Scottsdale Quarter on Wednesday, March 24 – American Red Cross Giving Day.

During Red Cross Month, volunteers are recognized and honored for providing hope and urgent relief to families in need in the face of life’s emergencies. More than 75 years ago, March was first proclaimed Red Cross Month in 1943 by President Franklin D. Roosevelt to raise awareness of the organization and its humanitarian mission. Today, the organization continues to celebrate this month by asking everyone to be a hero for families in need.

The center has teamed up with the American Red Cross and Kendra Scott to raise awareness on March 24. Guests can make a blood donation, check out an American Red Cross Emergency Vehicle, and shop at Kendra Scott, where a percentage of each sale will be donated to the American Red Cross. Funds raised on Giving Day can provide hope and, urgent relief like food, shelter and other essentials for families who need it most.

Scottsdale Quarter remains focused on providing a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. All events will follow the town center’s COVID-19 safety protocols, including rigorous disinfectant and cleaning practices.
