Pita Jungle’s New Seasonal Menu

Every January, we can’t get enough healthy, nourishing, veggie-packed dishes to kick off the new year. Luckily, Pita Jungle has made such dishes even more tempting with the release of its new seasonal menu.

Available at Pita Jungle’s participating Valley locations, as well as in Flagstaff and Tucson, the just-launched seasonal menu features healthy dishes to combat the post-holiday blahs.

For starters, no meal at Pita Jungle is complete with a helping of its famous hummus, and the new menu features the dish topped with fresh Ahi tuna that is coated in a curried-sesame crust. Tuna and hummus make for a unique combination, but we’re all for it; the warming curry spices pair well with the more subtle hummus.

A more traditional offering, the baba ganoosh, is a refreshing starter of roasted eggplant, tahini, yogurt, fresh garlic, olive oil, lemon juice and kalamata olives, served with your choice of pita. Creamy and vibrant, an extra pita or two might in order so not a single spoonful goes to waste.

Pita Jungle’s Burrito of the Sea

Next up, the Mediterranean Ramen is like medicine for the body and soul; it has the same soothing nature that we crave from a bowl of Grandma’s chicken soup. Featuring beef bone broth, capellini noodles, carrots, onion, white wine and plenty of greens in the form of cilantro, celery, parsley, fresh basil and pea sprouts, it’ll warm you up on a cold day.

For a more hearty offering, the Burrito of the Sea comprises sustainable Alaskan wild-caught whitefish in a gluten-free or low-carb wrap and is accented with a rainbow of good-for-you ingredients, like Tuscan kale, red and green cabbage, tomatoes, red onion, pickles, fresh jalapenos, cilantro and parsley. It is sided with a Greek salad.
