Common Ground Culinary Opens Two New Concepts in Phoenix

Uptown Phoenix foodies are in for a treat. Valley-based Common Ground Culinary (its portfolio includes the likes of Grassroots Kitchen & Tap, Twisted Grove Parlor + Bar and The Macintosh) will open two brand-new dining destinations in The Colony this October.

Christopher Collins, chef/owner of Common Ground Culinary, has announced the opening of Neighborly Public House and St. Urban at The Colony in Uptown Phoenix in October. Neighborly Public House is a casual eatery with a focus on quality seafood, pristine meat and vegetables. The patio will be a standout within the space, with lush landscaping and plenty of privacy. Dishes will include a charred cauliflower steak, grilled King salmon and Sonoma rib eye.

Found above Neighborly Public House, St. Urban will be a modern, French brasserie in a light, airy space with views of Camelback Mountain and Phoenix Mountain Preserve. At St. Urban, diners will dig into small plates, pressed sandwiches, flatbreads and more.

Currently, the Common Ground Culinary restaurant lineup includes Grassroots Kitchen & Tap, Twisted Grove Parlor + Bar, Wally’s American Gastropub, Sweet Provisions ice cream parlor, The Collins Small Batch Kitchen and The Macintosh.
