May 9 is Mother’s Day, and though it is impossible to thank mamas for all they do on a daily basis, lobster avocado toast and Bloody Marys are a good start. Celebrate the moms in your life with a special brunch, festive dinner or a gourmet gift from a beloved Arizona purveyor.

Join FRANCINE, located in the luxury wing of Scottsdale Fashion Square, for a special Mother’s Day brunch starting at 10 a.m. on May 9 to savor signature dishes like ricotta lemon pancakes. Mother’s Day dinner service starts at 5 p.m., and guests can enjoy classics like the L’agneau, crab ravioli and bone marrow pasta.
On May 9, elements will serve a Mother’s Day three-course prix-fixe menu from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Meal highlights will include chicken tortilla soup; artichoke and ricotta tart; lobster avocado toast; and braised short rib osso bucco. Guests can also dig into a chef’s selection of house-crafted artisanal desserts. Mother’s Day brunch is $115 per person and $35 for children ages 12 and under plus tax and gratuity. Reservations are required.
Mother’s Day brunch will be hosted at the Wigwam Ballroom from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., when families can indulge in brunch favorites with The Wigwam’s served buffet, featuring delicious fresh salad assortments, shrimp and snow crab claws, seared grouper, herb-crusted prime rib, wood-fired leg of lamb and decadent desserts. Or opt to celebrate at Litchfield’s, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a three-course prix-fixe brunch menu with smoked salmon, caprese benedict, huevos ranchero and much more.
At JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort & Spa, reserve a table at Rita’s Cantina to indulge in Mother’s Day brunch all morning and enjoy a limited-time special from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., in addition to the regular brunch menu. After brunch, guests can enjoy live music complemented with a Perrier-Jouet Champagne Tasting at Rita’s Bar from noon to 2 p.m., complete with Champagne cookies and flowers for moms. Stop by Rita’s Garden at 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m. or 1 p.m. for a complimentary butterfly release where families can unwrap a dormant butterfly and let them go in the lush gardens.
At JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa, savor Mother’s Day Grand Buffet from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a family favorite –– the Resort’s Grand Buffet –– complete with an antipasti bar, waffle bar, sushi and raw bar, made-to-order egg station, mac and cheese station, crepes and pastries, a selection of gelatos and more. From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Maple & Ash in Scottsdale offers a divine option for $90 per person or the ultra-decadent IDGAF option for $140 per person. Elevate your Mother’s Day celebration with Prado at Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia’s signature Paella Valenciana and Torrijas (a milk-and-citrus-soaked fried brioche covered in sugar and cinnamon, served with chestnut honey) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Diners can also enjoy traditional brunch classics, like a prime rib-carving station and decadent desserts, while live music fills the air.
Scottsdale’s Fat Ox is serving up an Italian-style Mother’s Day brunch from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., as well as Mother’s Day dinner from 5 to 9 p.m. Brunch highlights include house-made banana bread with amaro butter, Nutella French bread, spicy sugo pork benedict and black cod ravioli, plus decadent desserts and Italian-kissed cocktails.
Roaring Fork will be celebrating Valley mothers with a la carte specialty offerings (in addition to the regular menu) by Executive Chef Israel Medina from 4 to 9 p.m. Specialty menu items include rainbow trout, double-cut pork chop, pork wings and more.
Gilbert’s Liberty Market invites Mom to enjoy some special dishes made with her in mind. Available on Mother’s Day from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m., specials include griddled bread pudding, steak and eggs, strawberry shortcake and Liberty Mom’s Cocktail with vodka, orange juice grenadine and a Prosecco float.
From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Mother’s Day, nomada Provisions in Phoenix is preparing a specialty “Cook for Mother Box,” a complete meal (no actual cooking involved!) including assorted cheeses, charcuterie, a greens salad, beef roast with comforting sides and Middle Eastern semolina cake. This gourmet to-go option is available for pick-up on May 9 and includes reheat instructions.
Celebrate Mother’s Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the elegant Latilla at the Boulders Resort & Spa Scottsdale. The brunch will be offered inside or al fresco on the outdoor terrace. The Mother’s Day brunch includes live entertainment with a gourmet menu that includes tuna poke, oysters, salt-crusted prime rib and so much more.
Rusconi’s American Kitchen rolls out a celebratory prix-fixe menu in honor of Mother’s Day. The three-course menu, available during brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., includes options like lobster bisque, braised short ribs, steak and eggs, slow-braised spring lamb shank and more.
Treat Mom to a delicious brunch at Hearth ’61 at Mountain Shadows. Chef Charles Wiley has prepared a beautiful menu, with starters and desserts served family-style to each table and a choice of five à la carte entrées cooked to order. Brunch is served from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; $79 per person, $19 for children 7 to 12, and free for children 6 and under (plus tax and gratuity).
Ling & Louie’s has come up with two fantastic ways to celebrate Mom on this special occasion. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., treat Mom to a special Mother’s Day brunch (including the pictured chicken tempura and waffles) or, from 3 p.m. to close, toast to her during a special three-course Mother’s Day dinner for $30.
Match Market & Bar in Phoenix is serving up delectable specials available for breakfast and brunch in honor of the holiday: smoked salmon benedict with Chula smoked salmon, bacon, hollandaise, arugula, tomato, avocado and capers on an English muffin and fried coconut gelato with corn flakes, banana, fried coconut shavings, strawberry and honey. Specials are available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
In celebration of mothers, Trapp Haus BBQ in Phoenix is cooking up a special Mother’s Day brunch featuring red velvet waffles, country ham and eggs, “Million Dollar” candy bacon, shrimp and grits and more. Brunch is $25 and includes a bottle of bubbly and assorted juices for every mom. Mom can also unwind with MamaMosas, specially created by The Hive’s mixologist, Bridgette Baldwin.
Chompie’s locations around the Valley are making it easy to spoil Mom with a special brunch, lunch or dinner all packaged up and ready to go. Enjoy the effortlessly chic atmosphere and French-inspired fare from Zinqué in Scottsdale. The restaurant’s brunch and lunch menu, offered from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Mother’s Day, features fresh-baked pastries, appetizing sandwiches, healthy breakfast options and so much more. Coming for dinner? Zinqué has an extensive menu with tasty options.
Celebrate this Mother’s Day at ZuZu at Hotel Valley Ho with a chef-attended brunch buffet (with a kid’s menu offered as well) or a family-style meal to go. Reservations for dine-in are available between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Brunch is $50 per person, with enhancements including breakfast fried rice, citrus mascarpone stuffed French toast and more. Celebrating at home? ZuZu’s take-and-make meals start at $109 for a family of eight and include prime rib or spiral-cut ham that is ready for the oven complete with red or white wine and prepared sides. Just in time for Mother’s Day celebrations, Weft & Warp Art Bar + Kitchen at ANDAZ has launched a new brunch menu, with festive dishes like date scones, lemon ricotta toast on grilled brioche, shrimp and grits and more.
The Sicilian Butcher focuses on giving customers the most authentic Italian experience possible with customizable meatball buckets, fresh pasta dishes and Sicilian-style charcuterie boards, perfect for Mother’s Day. P.S. The 5-ft.-long charcuterie board, Sicilian in Strada ($15 per person), is a signature family favorite.
Nonna Urban Eatery offers guests a special spring-inspired three-course menu for Mother’s Day, available from 5 to 9 p.m., with options like kampachi crudo, miso cod, Nammoura semolina cake and various other tasty dishes. Guests can also enjoy specials on bottles of Prosecco, Cava and splits of French Rosé Brut to raise a glass and cheers to Mom.
Phoenix City Grille is cooking up two very special entrees in honor of Mother’s Day. In addition to its regular menu, the restaurant will offer a decadent Filet Oscar as well as pan-roasted Chula Seafood wild Alaskan halibut. Plus, during her visit, moms will receive a flower of gratitude.

Fellow Osteria has created a special Mother’s Day brunch menu with the likes of French toast, Farmer Papi’s Skillet (hash browns, sausage, bacon, spinach, asparagus, roasted tomato and over-easy eggs) and breakfast pizza (Grana Fonduta, bacon, Italian sausage, spinach, roasted tomato and over-easy eggs), alongside refreshing a.m.-friendly cocktails.
All day on Sunday, May 9, Humble Pie and Humble Bistro is offering half-off bottles of wine for moms. Plus, a brunch menu featuring sandwiches, Belgian waffles and berries, and signature humble dishes, as well as bottomless mimosas and $6 brunch cocktails, is available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Z’Tejas is offering a free brunch entrée to moms on this special holiday. In addition to the traditional brunch menu, the restaurant will be offering a special brunch entrée of breakfast fajitas. Z’Tejas will also extend brunch service from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
