Barking Bunco Fundraiser

Friends for Life, a nonprofit no-kill shelter located in Gilbert, will be holding a Barking Bunco fundraiser on Friday, July 29, from 6 to 8 p.m.
For the first time following the pandemic, Friends for Life resumed hosting its monthly Friday night Bunco tournaments to help increase awareness and raise additional funds for the rescue. The Friday night events will be held through September. Bunco enthusiasts of all skill levels are welcome to join in the fun at Friends for Life’s facility in Gilbert.
Admission is $25 and attendance is limited to 100 people. The event will take place in the rescue’s main lobby and training room. Attendees may arrive at 5:30 p.m. for a refresh course on the Bunco rules. The theme this month is “luau” and Friends for Life is encouraging everyone to dress in their best Hawaiian garb and regalia to compete for the best-dressed prize. Light refreshments and a raffle will also be highlighted.
