Holiday Events at Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia

It’s never too early to start thinking about the holidays! Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia has unveiled its lineup of fun-filled holiday events for the 2022 season.

Nov. 23: Thanksgiving Eve

From 6 p.m. to midnight at Cortijo Plaza on Thanksgiving Eve, kick off the holiday season with live entertainment, all-night dancing, tasty libations and Spanish-inspired cuisine from Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia’s signature restaurant, Prado, alongside eats from Taqueria Centro. Nov. 24: Thanksgiving Holiday Feast

Celebrate Thanksgiving surrounded by family and friends–without the fuss of cooking at home–at Prado. Seatings are available from noon to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 24. The four-course prix-fixe menu is complete with organic slow-roasted turkey, paired with buttermilk mashed potatoes, carrot puree and giblet herb jus, and festive desserts, like pumpkin brulee and custard pie. $115 per person, plus tax and gratuity; 5 and under are free.

Dec. 3: Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony

A beloved Scottsdale tradition, the resort hosts its annual tree lighting Dec. 3 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Cortijo Plaza, festively filled with of firepits and live music. During the family-friendly event, locals get to witness the lighting of the 20-ft. Christmas tree; dig into complimentary cider, hot cocoa and holiday cookies; take part in children’s crafts and cookie-decorating; and, best of all, smile for complimentary pictures with Santa. Also, bites and drinks will be available for purchase at Prado.

Dec. 4, Dec. 11 and Dec. 18: Breakfast with Santa

How often do kiddos have the chance to have a meal with Santa? At Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia’s Breakfast with Santa, taking place 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to select weekends in December, little ones and their families will dig into delicious fruits, breads and breakfast staples. They will also have the chance to take part in fun, festive activities and take a photo with Santa.

Dec. 10 and Dec. 17: Holiday Movie Night on Kasbah

From 4 to 6 p.m., resort guests are invited to spend time on the Kasbah patio with roaming carolers, s’mores and a bevvy from the Boozy Bar station while watching a fave holiday flick. On Dec. 10, enjoy “The Holiday” and “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” while Dec. 17 features will be “The Santa Clause” and “Elf.”

Dec. 24 and Dec. 25: Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Dinner

Crispy duck, bone-in rib eye and sticky toffee pudding? Yes, please. From 5 to 9 p.m. on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, Prado dishes up a decadent four-course, prix-fixe menu in honor of the holiday. In addition to divine eats, guests will enjoy live music to fill the holly jolly atmosphere. $140 per person, plus tax and gratuity; 5 and under are free.

Dec. 25: Christmas Day Brunch

Once the presents have been opened and Santa’s work is done, it’s time to relax, revel in the season and savor Christmas Day brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Prado. The indulgent brunch buffet will be brimming with sweet and savory options, in addition to festive holiday tunes.
