Favorite ways to spend family time in AZ: Some of my favorite ways to spend quality time with my wife and kids are early mornings and evenings after dinner. Outside the home, you often find us in the pool at DC Ranch Country Club, on the lawn at Isabella’s Kitchen at Grayhawk or on the Ice at the Ice Den Scottsdale. Being from Canada, it’s important to me that my kids have a relationship with the sport of hockey!
Your most rewarding fatherhood moment: It has to start with the births of each of my kids. Being a dad is by far my greatest accomplishment in life (that and getting my wife to say “yes”), and one of the main reasons I shifted careers to pursue real estate so that I could be available to my wife and kids and not miss out on experiencing and celebrating them.
Biggest challenge as a dad: Probably time management and organization. Very blessed to have a wife who keeps us all in line!
A father who inspires you and why: My dad. I’m forever grateful for all that he gave and sacrificed for myself and for our family. I’m not standing where I am today if it wasn’t for his unconditional love and support.
Best piece of advice for a new dad: Trust and believe in yourself. Never stop showing up for your kids even when you might not know what to do or have the answers.
Your biggest hope for your children: To know and trust in God. To live with a sense of purpose, and use their gifts to change the world.
