Restaurant of the Week: Hash Kitchen

The West Valley’s newest elevated brunch hotspot, Hash Kitchen, comes from the mind of Chef Joey Maggiore and features decadent dishes, a boozy build-your-own Bloody Mary bar, and an unparalleled party aesthetic that’s elevated by rotating weekend DJs and a playful ambience.

Chef Maggiore—who comes from the family-owned culinary group, The Maggiore Group—is no stranger to introducing unique restaurant concepts. In fact, he’s celebrated as one of Arizona’s most inventive restaurateurs, having served as the visionary behind Valley-favorites like The Sicilian Butcher and The Sicilian Baker.

Similar to other concepts from The Maggiore Group, Hash Kitchen is every bit as fun and flamboyant, as its menu offerings are completely satisfying. Among the menu highlights include decadent dishes like French toast, waffles and pancakes that come in variations like banana fosters and s’mores, as well as more savory staples like the poutine corned beef hash, frittatas, and specialties including a giant English muffin sandwich.

Hash Kitchen offers refreshing renditions of classic brunch staples that foodies—and even traditional breakfast loyalists—will love. But it’s the cocktail offerings and Bloody Mary bar that sets this eatery far apart from its competitors.

The brunch cocktail program extends from mimosas, to cold brew cocktails and, of course, the build-your-own Bloody Mary bar experience that gives guests the opportunity to choose their own house-infused vodka flavors, made-from-scratch Bloody Mary mixes—such as classic and habanero—and over 60 toppings such as fried ravioli, beef jerky, pickles and much more.

Between the restaurant’s ongoing party aesthetic—made even more memorable via social media worthy wall art and a bright, photo station—and some of the most mouth-watering brunch items in the world, Hash Kitchen offers an elevated breakfast experience like no other, and some long-awaited culinary excitement to the West Valley.
