Hash Kitchen has opened its seventh Arizona location, gracing Verde at Cooley Station in Gilbert with its build-your-own Bloody Mary bar, cotton candy-topped cocktails and next-level brunch dishes.
Life’s too short not to enjoy a side of disco balls and edible gold with your brunch. Such could be the philosophy of Hash Kitchen Gilbert. At the widely adored brunch restaurant, which opened earlier this summer at the up-and-coming Verde at Cooley Station, guests pop in for delectable eats and drinks in a lively atmosphere where guest DJ sets are standard. A Champagne table, an indoor bar, an indoor/outdoor patio and crazy-cool art (including a shimmery gold wall) round out the setting.
A Bloody Mary is a hallmark of any brunch feast, and Hash Kitchen serves up the most popular rendition in the state. At its famous build-your-own bar, guests can choose from 60-plus toppings–crowning their cocktail with everything from corndogs to bacon slices to waffles. Spiked coffee, shareable cocktails, craft mimosas, Booze Bags (think Capri Sun for the 21-and-older set) and non-alcoholic Sparklers, with glittery orange juice, also fill the drink menu. And whether it is topped with rock candy or served in a glass purse, nearly every single drink calls for a mini photo shoot.
As with the drinks, the brunch eats at Hash Kitchen Gilbert go beyond the blah breakfast norm. Where some restaurants have doughnuts, Hash Kitchen has fried-to-order sweet dough with sweet cannoli cream. Where most a.m. eateries serve French toast, Hash Kitchen serves banana split brioche (pictured at top of page) with caramelized bananas, sweet mascarpone, mixed berries and a warm, salted caramel drizzle. Those with more savory hankerings can stick a fork in a variety of hearty HK Hashes, paired with crispy hash potatoes; fried chicken and waffles; brunchiladas (breakfast enchiladas); and much more.
