There are four distinctive restaurants to choose from, including Red Allen’s Bar & Grill, a casual burger spot with endless golf views; The Tower Pool Bar & Grill, an adventurous dining experience with poolside eats and craft cocktails; Wigwam Bar for a late-night sip and signature plates; and Litchfield’s, a fine dining destination known for its artful America philosophy and award-winning wine program. Each of The Wigwam restaurants utilizes fresh, locally-sourced ingredients from the surrounding vendors, including oils and vinegar from Queen Creek Olive Mill, cheese and dairy from Crow’s Dairy in Buckeye, produce from Litchfield Park’s Blue Sky Farms and fresh seafood flown in daily from nearby waters.
With a laidback vibe and cozy outdoor ambiance, Red Allen’s Bar & Grill is perfect for those traveling with the family. The casual restaurant overlooks lush champion golf courses and offers unmatched views of Arizona’s famous sunsets. The spot is well-known for its family-friendly dining experiences after receiving an award from Diner’s Choice for the “Best Family-Friendly Restaurant.” Stop by in the morning every Saturday from May 27 to Sept. 2 for Character Breakfast, when kiddos can don their best costume and enjoy a delicious breakfast with some of their favorite characters. Red Allen’s Bar & Grill is offering specials just in time for summer vacation, including the Kids Rule! special, where guests who purchase a full-sized entrée receive a free kid’s meal, and the Mix & Match deal, allowing diners to pick their favorite craft burger and draft beer for $18 every Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
If you are like us and enjoy kicking back poolside, then opt for some eats at The Tower Pool Bar & Grill. The fun-in-the-sun grill offers refreshing handcrafted cocktails to keep you cool, with some favorites including The Wigwam Signature Margarita, with Don Julio, triple sec and grand mariner; the frozen Strawberry Shortcake with amaretto and Island Oasis vanilla and strawberry; or the blended piña colada with Bacardi coconut rum, Myer’s dark rum and Island Oasis piña colada mix. Be sure to grab a fruit smoothie or milkshake from the bar for the little ones too. A variety of handheld items can be found on the fare lineup, including cheeseburgers, hot dogs and chicken strips.
At the heart of The Wigwam Arizona Resort is Wigwam Bar, an all-encompassing entertainment spot with live music, late-night sips, lawn games, fire pits and lounge seating. The bar is open as early as 6 a.m. for breakfast and features a rotating menu for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night sips and plates. Be sure to visit during happy hour every Sunday to Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. for discounts on select favorites, including $5 draft beers, $8 cocktails, $8 Sterling Vineyards Wines, $10 WWB Nachos and $12 appetizers. With Chef Adam Dunton at the helm, Litchfield’s offers a cozy and intimate dining experience, complete with an award-winning wine program and a rustic, artful America menu. The luxe restaurant’s current offerings include wood-fired pecan fare, seasonal plates and an indulgent selection of sweet treats. An assortment of wines is available to complement each dish from Litchfield’s extensive wine selection, in addition to a lineup of cocktails, mocktails and imported beers. The wine program was recently awarded the 2022 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence and guests who visit on Wednesdays from 5 to 9 p.m. can enjoy half-off select bottles during summer. Live music can also be found at Litchfield’s from 6 to 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, with Fridays featuring the stylings of Jay Soto and Saturdays offering sounds from local musicians.
