Estates Golf Course to Open at Arizona Biltmore Golf Club

Arizona Biltmore Golf Club, located in the heart of Phoenix, is on the brink of a remarkable transformation. Come Nov. 3, golf enthusiasts can play on the newly renovated Estates Course.

Formerly known as the Adobe Course, this meticulously redesigned and rebranded golf course promises an unparalleled golfing experience, complete with scenic views and rich history. For nearly 100 years, Arizona Biltmore Golf Club has been a haven for Phoenix residents, tourists, corporate leaders, U.S. presidents and celebrities. With the unveiling of the Estate Course, the club adds another chapter to its history, inviting golfers to indulge in the perfect blend of tradition, innovation and natural beauty. Get ready to tee off in a golfing experience like no other.

“This project began as a renovation of the 95-year-old Adobe Course. As we moved through design and into construction, it became clear this would be a completely new golf course with more length, variety and challenge for golfers,” says Jerry Colangelo, Phoenix-based JDM Partners, owners of the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club, in a recent press release. “In rebranding to the Estates Course, we recognize the beautiful neighborhood we call home and begin a new chapter in the storied history of the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club.”

The Estates Course has emphasized sustainability. The new course is now covered in a drought-tolerant TifTuf bermudagrass, a move aimed at conserving water. An advanced irrigation system was installed, equipped with high-tech sensors, ensuring precise watering while minimizing water usage. Over the course of six months, 400 new trees were planted, defining the fairways and playing corridors.

Arizona Biltmore Golf Club is the second phase of the renovation initiative. In March 2023, the club unveiled a state-of-the-art golf shop designed by Douglas Fredrikson and Alexandra Lemos of Douglas Fredrikson Architects. This Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired building offers retail and office spaces, member locker rooms, fitting rooms, restrooms and underground golf cart storage. Work is currently underway for the third phase, featuring a clubhouse and restaurant set to open in 2024. It positions Arizona Biltmore Golf Club on par with the neighboring Arizona Biltmore Resort and Wrigley Mansion, offering an elevated experience for all who visit.
