A fashion trend you’re currently obsessed with? Bold colors used in modern style. In the past, neutrals have reigned over modern silhouettes, but now we are seeing fuchsias, greens and aquas. Thanks to one of my absolute favorite designers, Jacquemus.
Advice you would offer someone who’s trying to figure out their own personal style sense? Style is a form of communication. Think about your personality and what makes you proud of who you are, then picture yourself wearing outfits that communicate those aspects of you. For example, I’m proud of and enjoy my sensual energy. I often like to wear fitted black bodysuits, high heels and earrings that highlight my neck. The best part of personal style is that its personal—wear what empowers you.
One thing you’d like to see change (or rather, see more of) in Arizona’s fashion scene? I love local boutiques—2020 made it tough to shop in-store, but I’m really missing the experience and hope more local clothing boutiques pop up.
An Arizona-based fashion brand or designer that inspires you and why? Sage Aubrey! She’s everything! I admire her as a woman, and her bags are stunning. I know how much care it takes to create a product that is beautiful, functional and meaningful. She nailed it.
