After successfully completing the first phase of renovations to Scottsdale Fashion Square, Macerich, one of the nation’s leading developers of mixed-use properties, announced that the second phase has commenced. The next stage will feature upgrades to the South Wing, including five new dining destinations and redefined designs.
The upscale shopping destination in Scottsdale, Scottsdale Fashion Square, has just finished the first phase of renovations that began back in 2018, focusing on the mall’s Luxury Wing. The new stage is building off of the wing’s success and now aims to upgrade the South Wing with new, purposeful properties like Life Time Fitness and Caesars Republic Scottsdale, a boutique hotel. In addition to these soon-to-be hotspots are five signature dining destinations and new luxe valet service.
Like the Luxury Wing, the interior renovation of the south section will feature all-new upscale finishes, natural stone flooring, custom light fixtures with LED lights, opulent furnishings, new way-finding signs and more additions to deliver the ultimate shopping experience.
“Scottsdale Fashion Square is the very definition of luxury retail in the Southwest, with nearly 50 of the finest luxury and contemporary brands including Cartier, Bottega Veneta, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Balenciaga, Christian Louboutin, Bulgari and Prada, alongside our top-performing Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom department stores,” says Michael Guerin, executive vice president of Macerich in a press release. “Continually curating our merchandise mix with dynamic new experiences, including additional new restaurants and great design elements, to other parts of the property beyond the luxury wing enhances the value proposition of Scottsdale Fashion Square as whole for retailers and brands, while optimizing the customer journey for our guests.”
Also in the works is an exterior-facing retail building, complete with a porte-cochère and five new culinary spots.
