Stephanie Inzalaco, the owner of Stephanie’s boutique in Scottsdale, shared some of her fabulous shopping tips with Fab AZ!

When shopping, Inzalaco says, “A well edited closet not only saves you time getting ready every day, but also brings your more happiness and enjoyment!”

She says, “It’s really the premise of our store. Great basics. Well edited. And coveted pieces! You won’t see a lot of random pieces in our store because we want our customer to buy items because they are special and because they will last years!”

Stephanie believes in providing things that all mix together.

She says it’s the way she buys for the store and believes it’s the way you should shop for yourself too!

Here’s some tips to follow when filling your own closet:

  • Don’t buy pieces you like – buy pieces you love! Covet what’s in your closet. Your investment will last longer in your closet and bring you more enjoyment ….
  • Invest in high quality staples. You wear your basics most often. Don’t scrimp! Invest in high quality staples that will last you longer!..,..
  • Buy at the beginning of the season! Seek out a few great pieces each season and buy them early! You’ll wear them over and over for the season vs waiting till the end when they go on sale and you only get to wear them once or twice..
  • Quality over quantity. Shopping is an investment and times have changed to quality vs quantity. It’s important to get as much out of your closet as you do anything else you buy.

At Stephanie’s you’ll find exclusive designer labels, including Rag & Bone, Majestic T’s, Del Toro Shoes, NSF, Raquel Allegra, Equipment, Current Elliot, Chaser, Mother Denim and Designer’s Guild — a collection shoppers would be hard-pressed to find anywhere else in the Valley.

“I found myself doing most of my shopping while I was out of town because there really wasn’t a place here to go for advanced, contemporary women’s clothing,” said Stephanie. “Stephanie’s fills the void in the Scottsdale market by providing the types of fashion lines previously only found in New York and L.A.”

About Stephanie’s

My friend and I came to Paris to enjoy a bit of fashion week even if it was just Trunk Shows. We sat down at a side walk cafe for lunch and was thrilled to have set next to two gentleman who spoke English(even if one had a slight Australian accent). We were told one of them designed for Stephanie’s in Scottsdale. I had to immediately look you up. Were we really that fortunate? His name was Peter.
