Spring Skiing and Stargazing in Flagstaff
Now through March 31, powder buffs can head to Snowbowl to enjoy the World’s Best Spring Break. During that time, Snowbowl will offer a limited number of tickets as low as $29 with discounted add-on rentals or beginner lessons (ages 13-plus) for just $29 each. With such killer prices and gorgeous spring weather, even novice skiers can feel comfortable hitting the slopes for the first time. Après-ski, show your Snowbowl ticket at Historic Brewing Company, Lumberyard Brewing and Beaver Street Brewery, among other Flag faves, and enjoy discounts and offers.
Did you know that Flagstaff was the world’s first International Dark Sky City? Pretty cool, right? A prime spot to savor those starry skies is at Lowell Observatory (Lowell’s founder Percival Lowell discovered Pluto!). Visit the Mars Hill campus in the evening to stargaze, take a peek through world-famous, cutting-edge telescopes and even book a tour for an awe-inspiring experience for the whole family. Plus, Lowell’s 20-minute Science Talks are included in general admission.
