First job: Beyond starting my own business, YogieFlow.com, my first job was teaching a yoga Zoom class to HopeKids. HopeKids is a local nonprofit that helps kids who have life-threatening or chronic illnesses and they have currently launched a Zoom program where kids can sign on and participate in different activities.

Favorite ways to spend your free time in AZ: There are so many things I love to do in AZ. I love hiking, going to the Burton Barr Library, and eating at local restaurants.

The person who has impacted your life the most and why: Probably my dad because he’s the one who pulled us out of school and put me on a path to follow after my passion.

Your biggest accomplishment in your eyes and why: For me, it was starting yogieflow.com. While most kids my age are on their phone, I pushed myself to gain more knowledge on yoga and meditation so I could put together my business. I also finished my 200-hour yoga teaching certification so that I am best equipped to teach.

The biggest obstacle you have overcome: Finding the right yoga studio or teacher training was challenging because most of them require you to be 18 years old. However, I found an amazing studio (Urban Yoga) and teacher training (Y2T2). They are both locally owned.

Someone who inspires you and why: Everyone inspires me in so many different ways, but I would have to say my family because they push me to my limits and are always there to help me grow.

Favorite quote: “Whether you think you can, or think you can’t … you’re right.” -Henry Ford

Advice to someone pursuing a career path in what you do: Follow your dreams and try to gain as much knowledge as you can about your passion(s).

What you think makes someone fabulous: Anyone who is true to themselves and others. People who aren’t pretending to be someone there not.
