Gabriella’s is the byproduct of husband-and-wife duo, Anthony and Anna Barr, who took their extensive experience working in San Francisco’s culinary industry, and translated it into a charming space that specializes in classically American cuisine.
Upon entering Gabriella’s, guests are immediately embraced by a warm environment which boasts neutral design tones, golden light fixtures and wall décor that heightens the restaurant’s allure—making it feel less like a local joint, and more like an established cornerside cafe.
True to its tone, Gabriella’s attention to detail and immediately likeable aesthetic are also ever-present in its menu items, as well.
Chef Barr—whose team placed a particular emphasis on curating a wide selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes—has developed a menu that’s celebrated for its refreshing takes on American cuisine, along with unparalleled seasonal meals.
Customer favorites include appetizers like the toasted crostini and creamy burrata, as well as the seared scallops—a gluten-free adaptation which features cheesy polenta, charred corn and chive oil.
Between main entrees like the red wine-braised short ribs and the seared salmon—complete with butternut squash puree and citrus miso glaze—basically every dish provides a pretty unmissable flavor experience.
