San Diego’s Ambrogio15 is set to open in Phoenix with its sixth concept. The authentic Italian restaurant opens its doors at Biltmore Fashion Park in December 2023.
Ambrogio15Ā first launched in 2016 in San Diegoās Pacific Beach, founded by friends and Milan natives, Andrea Burrone and Giacomo Pizzigoni. The restaurant quickly became known for its gourmet Milanese-style pizzas with a paper-thin crust. The concept has since expanded with the help ofĀ Michelin-starred chef, Silvio Salmoiraghi, and business partner chef, Choi Cheolyeok.
The all-new Ambrogio15 in Phoenix will spotlight an extensive menu of Italian cuisine, with its authentic Italian appetizers, famed pizzas, housemade pastas, steaks, seafood and a raw bar, crafted through the lens of head chef Fabio Pizzigoni, formerly of the Park Plaza London Riverbank. The menu will be complemented with selection of boutique natural wines–showcased in a must-see 2,000-bottle, two-story wine tower–and an extensive cocktail menu designed by world-famous mixologist, Marco Russo. Guests can even expect a few social media-worthy tableside presentations–like a homemade pasta that is prepared at the table inside of a wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano and a flaming tomahawk steak.
āWe wanted to bring an all-new concept out to Phoenix, and we are super thrilled to be bringingĀ Ambrogio15Ā to the Biltmore neighborhood, which is known for being luxurious and stylish. Our Italian roots, combined with what we have learned in the San Diego market, has prepared us for this exciting adventure,” Burrone says, in a press release.
Ambrogio15 will be found on the west side of Biltmore Fashion Park inside the space formerly occupied by California Pizza Kitchen. Working with San Diegoās GTC Design, the sleek and wood-lined space will be inspired by the ownersā hometown of Milan. In addition to the awe-inspiring wine tower, leather-wrapped booths, a 12-person private dining room for an omakase experience and a chic bar area round out the space.
Ambrogio15Ā will be open for lunch and dinner, with plans to add weekend brunch and late-night dining. For more information, visit www.ambrogio15.com.
