Backyard Desert Ridge is redefining the concept of indoor/outdoor dining in North Phoenix with innovative designs, state-of-the-art technology and a pet-friendly environment.
Evening Entertainment Group, a prominent nightlife and restaurant development company based in Phoenix, introduces its latest destination, Backyard Desert Ridge. With a significant investment of $5 million, the restaurant is set to revolutionize the indoor/outdoor dining experience.
The highly-anticipated Backyard Desert Ridge will be in a transformed space previously occupied by Sandbar Desert Ridge. The venue offers a climate-controlled indoor/outdoor environment that combines cutting-edge technology, entertainment and a pet-friendly atmosphere. Construction began in April 2023 at the popular Desert Ridge Marketplace, and the grand opening is slated for early Q1 2024.
The venue features state-of-the-art entertainment amenities, including LED screens capable of showing up to 32 games simultaneously, DJs and bottle service to create a dynamic nightlife experience when the sun sets.
The bar and grill will serve elevated bar food, fun cocktails and a selection of over 40 beers. The menu will feature dishes including pastrami egg rolls, jalapeno popper dip, chopped chicken salad, spinach and feta grilled cheese and a smoked beef cheek baguette.
“This part of Phoenix is incredible, and when we came here with Sandbar in 2011, we knew we’d be here for a long time,” says Les Corieri, co-owner of Evening Entertainment Group, in a press release. “Backyard allows us to take things to the next level, to go all out and create a one-of-a-kind experience that hits all the marks—relaxed yet stylish dining in an indoor/outdoor setting that takes advantage of Arizona’s incredible weather.”
With locations in Dallas and Fort Worth, Backyard Desert Ridge will be Evening Entertainment Group’s third venue under the Backyard brand. The project will be designed by local architectural firm Dalke Design Group and constructed by local design-build firm, Kennedy Design Build, LLC.
