Come early September, Gilbert residents will have easier access to top-notch fresh seafood when Buck & Rider opens the doors of its newest location at Epicenter at Agritopia.
First coming onto the scene in 2015 in Arcadia, Buck & Rider has been a local favorite for bringing the Valley only the finest, freshest seafood offerings. Buck & Rider Gilbert, located at the ever-growing Epicenter at Agritopia, is set to become the third Valley outpost; a North Scottsdale location opened in December 2022.
The restaurant’s catch is flown in daily, purchased directly from small producers around the world who specialize in sustainable fishing and oyster farming practices. The popular time-stamped raw bar reflects the freshness of the fish and availability of oysters from the fisherman and farmers.
The same thoughtfulness given to the fare has gone into the ambience and design of Buck & Rider Gilbert–from the walnut-topped bar and Heath ceramic tile to the cozy fireplace and fountain with custom bronze statue. The new restaurant will have more than 9,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor space for a date night over oysters or a breezy weekend brunch on the patio.
Apart from lunch, dinner and weekend brunch (with half-off bottles of bubbles!), Buck & Rider’s happy hour at Abby’s Oyster Bar and Alcove is a local favorite, served every day from 3 to 7 p.m., with can’t-beat specials on beer, wine and signature handcrafted cocktails plus a changing selection of small bites and raw bar offerings. The lunch and dinner menus spotlight exquisite sushi rolls, aged steaks, seafood platters, an extensive Reserve wine and spirits list and plenty of touches for celebratory gatherings, like B&R Imperial Golden Osetra Caviar.
When it opens this fall, Buck & Rider Gilbert will join Epicenter at Agritopia’s impressive and diverse list of F&B establishments, including newly opened Spinato’s, UnderTow, Belly Kitchen and Bar, Gadzook’s, Source and Matt’s Big Breakfast.
