JoJo’s ShakeBAR serves up gourmet, over-the-top milkshakes and 90’s vibes at its newest location at Scottsdale Quarter. The just-opened eatery joins JoJo’s restaurants in Chicago, Detroit and Orlando.
JoJo’s ShakeBAR recently opened at Scottsdale Quarter, quickly becoming the go-to spot for all occasions. The vivid blue interiors in the diner-like atmosphere and vintage arcade games evoke a sense of childhood nostalgia. The restaurant is filled with murals paying homage to Scottsdale’s unique culture and atmosphere. You will also find paintings of iconic celebrities and figures from the 80’s and 90’s (check out the Pac-Man painting on the ceiling!). JoJo’s ShakeBAR is heaven for those looking for Insta-worthy moments. Snap a selfie with one of the many neon signs: “Shakes, Fries & Damn Good Vibes,” “Beer Colder Than Your Ex’s Heart” and “Shake it Like a Polaroid.” Each sign is a testament to the diner’s fun vibes.
JoJo’s ShakeBAR is known for its handcrafted milkshakes., like the Girl Scout, an Andes Mint chocolate milkshake topped with toasted marshmallow, a chocolate pretzel, chocolate s’mores and a double chocolate chip cookie. Meanwhile, Rocky IV is a banana Reese’s Pieces milkshake topped with toffee marshmallows, white chocolate and a peanut butter cookie. The vegan milkshake option, Nada, is a fusion of banana, Oreo and peanut butter topped with a sugar cone, Oreo, peanut butter and a cookie.
Beyond the signature milkshakes, JoJo’s ShakeBAR has an expansive lunch and dinner menu that starts off with crowd-pleasing appetizers, like an onion ring tower, buffalo wings and mozzarella sticks. Guests come by for lunch favorites like soup, salads, sandwiches, burgers and authentic Chicago-style hot dogs. As for the dinner menu, it features classics like a walking taco, pot pie, momma’s lasagna and baked mac and cheese.
The fun doesn’t stop there; JoJo’s ShakeBAR has an array of handcrafted cocktails that embody the lively spirit of the restaurant. Sip on a cotton candy martini, frozen margarita or a Bloody Mary (topped with a mini hot dog!). And let’s not forget the collection of flavorful shots. The Cereal Killer shot, served in a Fruity Pebbles glass, is just one example of the fun-filled nostalgic shots.
JoJo’s ShakeBAR is open Monday to Thursday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.; and Sunday, 10 a.m. and 9 p.m. Brunch is served until 2 p.m.
