Canada-based Moxies, an upscale-casual restaurant bursting with energy and bold design, has opened its first Arizona outpost at Scottsdale Fashion Square. The fresh opening is the seventh Moxies locale in the United States.

At Moxies Scottsdale, locals and out-of-towners can anticipate top-tier service and high-quality, from-scratch food and drink, in a stunning setting at Scottsdale Fashion Square. The 12,000-sq.-ft. restaurant–brimming with lush indoor greenery, whimsical wallpaper and gold fixtures–can accommodate 350 people. It is home to both indoor and outdoor dining spaces and a large island bar. When the weather is right, the shaded patio will be the place to be, with misters for when it’s hot and fire tables and heaters for chillier temps. More than 20 LED TV’s welcome sports fans in the lounge and bar area, where they can savor creative cocktails and bar bites.
The globally inspired menu is brought to us by Brandon Thordarson, executive chef and director of Culinary and Beverage. Moxies Scottsdale’s standout dishes include the Tuna Sushi Stack; Steak Bites, made with marinated sirloin and horseradish aioli; and chipotle-mango chicken with housemade chipotle seasoning, lemon quinoa, seasonal vegetables, avocado and salsa. To drink, guests can indulge in a wide array of margaritas (like the can’t-miss Millionaire Margarita, prepared with Herradura Legend añejo, Grand Marnier Cuvée Louis Alexandre, organic agave and fresh-pressed lime), cocktails and a tempting wine list.
Moxies Scottsdale is open Monday to Thursday, 11 a.m. to midnight; Friday, 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 1 a.m.; and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.. Happy hour is Monday to Friday, 3 to 6 p.m., and includes specially priced cocktails and shared plates. On Wednesdays, guests can enjoy half-price bottles of wine.
