Newly opened in Downtown Ocotillo, Bottle & Bean is a one-stop shop for sipping, savoring and, well, shopping! The Chandler-based coffee house and wine shop features a full lineup of brunch and lunch dishes, as well as a retail section for summer gifting needs.
Bottle & Bean is the latest venture from Spike Lawrence of Spike Lawrence Ventures and longtime restaurateur, Tom Kaufmann. The duo is known for their collection of successful Downtown Ocotillo dining spots, including The Living Room, Rock Lobster, CHoP Chandler and Sea & Smoke.
An adorable destination for coffee-fueled telecommuters to get some work done or for friends and family to gather for a quick bite, Bottle & Bean offers a spacious, industrial-chic setting, including a private dining room. Guests can peruse shelves upon shelves of wine bottles from around the globe in a climate-controlled room, as well as totes, water bottles, stationery, mugs and more cute trinkets in the retail space.
The small but mighty breakfast menu includes the likes of breakfast sandwiches and burritos (including a divine quinoa breakfast burrito with fire-roasted corn and black beans), cast-iron frittatas and a variety of picture-worthy avocado toast options. Come 11:30 a.m., Bottle & Bean whips up its lunch lineup of salads, sandwiches and bowls. In addition to traditional coffee drinks, caffeine fiends can order up one of several house specialties. The Ocotillo, a concoction of espresso, agave, cinnamon and oat milk, is a favorite for those who don’t love super-sweet coffee but wouldn’t mind a kicky little switch-up to their usual iced latte.
Even with so much to offer, perhaps Bottle & Bean’s most unique specialty is its pop-up picnic experience–just right for a special occasion. On the restaurant’s lawn, comfy lounge seating is set up for a fully customized picnic experience, rounded out with wine or bubbly, charcuterie boards and more.
