Mariposa Latin Inspired Grill serves South American-inspired cuisine and is located in the heart of Sedona, Arizona surrounded by world-class resorts, hotels, and spectacular views of the red rocks.
The restaurant has a beautiful grand entrance and an expansive patio that can be enjoyed nearly year-round. The main dining room is equally as beautiful with stunning views of the Sedona scenery.
Mariposa is one of well-known Chef Lisa Dahl’s restaurants in Sedona. She is a self-taught chef, best-selling cookbook author, and designer – she single-handedly decorated the interiors of each of her restaurants. She is extremely passionate about the food she serves and the guest’s experience in every once of her restaurants.
Mariposa offers a variety of Tapas and Starters to share with the table, including a Shrimp Ceviche, Handmade Empanadas and Yuca Fries to name just a few. One of our favorites is the Atun Parfait, made with Sushi Grade Yellowfin Poke, avocado, mango chile salsa, bibb lettuce, chipotle aioli and crispy shoestring potatoes.
For entrees, choose from a variety of steaks, pork or seafood. The Meat Trio is a great option for a variety of tastings, featuring a 6oz. Filet Mignon Center Cut with signature mushroom gorgonzola chipotle sauce; Two Bone-in Lamb Lollipops with roasted yellow pepper coulis & cilantro mint pesto and a Spicy Chorizo Sausage Link with roasted rosemary potatoes & marinated artichoke hearts.
If you prefer a tasting of seafood, the Seafood Lovers Trio is perfect, featuring Cold Water Lobster Tail, Hokkaido Seared Sea Scallops and Jumbo Grilled Tiger Shrimp.
Decadent side dishes include Lisa’s Lovely Lemon Mashed Potatoes with Luscious Lobster Scampi, Triple Queso Truffle Mac & Cheese and Mom’s favorite Au Gratin Potatoes layered with White Cheddar, to name a few.
For dessert, you must try the Maple Coconut Flan laced with maple and finished with whipped Chantilly cream and toasted coconut.
Mariposa Latin Inspired Grill is open for lunch daily 11:30am to 2:30pm and dinner 5:30pm to close.
