Serrano’s is a family-owned Mexican food oasis in the desert that has five locations throughout the Valley.
For 100 years, the Serrano family has provided their community in Chandler with the fresh flavors of Mexico; They will continue to do so in the years to come as well, by introducing #DeviceFreeDinners at all of their 5 valley locations. Every Thursday, from 5-9pm, they invite families and friends to dine with them in a device free setting, all whilst providing conversation starters to help get the night going.
You can elect to start the night off with their famous bean dip and crispy chips, or customize a delicious quesadilla with your choice of added meat like chicken or steak or vegetables for the perfect starter to your meal. All their quesadillas are prepared with their fresh homemade tortillas, which are made every morning. These pair up perfectly with their Specialty Centennial Margarita or any of their other 8 specialty margaritas. A cold import beer such as a Modelo Especial or a XXAmber would also make a great companion for you meal.
Serrano’s prides themselves on offering food abundant in flavor and always using the freshest ingredients. This is reflected in their house specialty dishes, like the rich and savory Pollo Fundido and the Sizzling skillet Fajitas. The Pollo Fundido consists of a deep fried burro… yes a Deep Fried Burro, filled with chicken, sautéed onions, tomatoes, green chile and covered their signature cream cheese and jalapeño fundido sauce. Still hungry for more? That Fajita Skillet serves up a half pound of your choice of Steak, Chicken or Shrimp along with the best selection of onions, tomatoes, green chiles and Mexican Spices. Served to your table on a Sizzling Skillet accompanied with rice beans, guacamole, sour cream and fresh tortillas the Serrano’s Fajitas are a sure showstopper. Or if you happen to be there on #TacoTuesday you can enjoy $2.50 street tacos with your choice of Carne Asada, Pollo Asado, Machaca, Shredded Chicken, Pork or ground Beef.
Make sure you leave room for dessert because their Heavenly Bites are just that, heavenly. They’re mini dessert chimis stuffed with chocolate, peanuts, gooey caramel, and topped with a drizzle of chocolate and whipped cream. They also serve deep fried tortilla strips sprinkled in Cinnamon Sugar called Bunuelos, that can be served as is or topped with ice cream and are sure to be the cherry on top of a great meal.
