Hometown: Vacaville, CA

First job: Busgirl at Okura Japanese Cuisine.

Favorite ways to spend your free time in AZ: I enjoy early-morning gym sessions, coffee with a view, hiking local trails and weekend getaways to Sedona.

Your biggest accomplishment and why: Launching Love Aesthetics & Wellness this year is my biggest accomplishment to date. It is the culmination of many years studying business in California, studying nursing in Florida, simultaneously working as a registered nurse in the hospital setting, moving to Arizona as a brand new nurse practitioner, gaining experience in multiple specialties and building relationships with some of the most beautiful women in the Valley who inspired me to take the leap to become an independent practitioner.

The biggest obstacle you overcame: The biggest obstacle I have overcome is moving to Arizona in December 2015. I was alone as a new nurse practitioner and establishing my unique niche as a trusted intimate wellness and aesthetic provider.

Someone who inspires you and why: My grandma Bertie. She was wildly independent, inspired my love of fitness and dance and encouraged me to try new things. She would always say, “What’s the worst that can happen? If it doesn’t work out, then you try again.”

Advice to someone pursuing a career path in what you do: Never give up on your dream. View every obstacle as an opportunity to learn, grow and become a better version of yourself.

Favorite quote: “The use of love is to heal. When it flows without effort from the depth of the self, love creates health.” —Deepak Chopra

Something someone would be surprised to learn about you: I was born in Angeles City, Philippines. My mother is Filipino and my father is American. At the age of two, we moved to the San Francisco Bay Area (my dad’s home state), where I was fortunate to grow up and maintain some of the same best girlfriends to this day.

What makes someone fabulous: Someone who shares confidence, kindness and optimism to uplift those around them.
