Andaz Mexico City Condesa is bringing a taste of Mexico to Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Bungalows this May with a special pop-up menu and ceviche class.
Hosted by Davide Preziuso, executive chef at Andaz Mexico City Condesa, locals and hotel guests can participate in a ceviche class on Thursday, May 2, at 2 p.m. at Weft & Warp Art Bar + Kitchen at Andaz Scottsdale. Master the process and techniques of making ceviche in this hands-on, one-time-only cooking class. Learn how to prepare an authentic red snapper ceviche, with a vegan option available. The class is $25 per person and tickets are required to attend. Tickets can be purchased at hyattexperiences.com.
Chef Preziuso is also crafting an exciting pop-up menu for Andaz Scottsdale’s signature restaurant Weft & Warp Art Bar + Kitchen that will be available from May 2 through May 5, 2024. During these dates, Weft & Warp will still serve its standard dinner and dessert menu but will also offer this specialized pop-up menu. Some of the special menu items include:
- Bean salbute with chorizo, queso fresco and sour cream
- Red snapper ceviche with mango, red onion, cilantro, tomato, cucumber, marinade, lemon juice and fried plantain
- Rice pudding with tequila raisins, grated chocolate Abuelita and cinnamon
