To the delight of local pickleheads, Chicken N Pickle has made its debut in Arizona. The entertainment complex is now open in Glendale at Westgate Entertainment District.
Chicken N Pickle recently opened its first location in Arizona, featuring a restaurant, three bars and, of course, pickleball courts. Located at the Westgate Entertainment District in Glendale, Chicken N Pickle is an indoor/outdoor entertainment complex that provides a fun community for all ages. From pickleball and cornhole to shuffleboard and ping pong, the new opening has activities for everyone to enjoy.
From first-time pickleball players to experts, Chicken N Pickle provides an uplifting and supportive community to both learn and play. Rental options include a paddle for $3 and a pickleball for $3.50. If you are a seasoned player, you are welcome to bring your own equipment. Chicken N Pickle has indoor and outdoor courts to choose from, and fees range from $30 to $45 an hour. It is encouraged to reserve your court ahead of arrival to ensure availability. If you are still unsure where to start or want or want to improve your skills, private lessons are available for $50 to $60 an hour per person.
The sprawling outdoor patio is the perfect place to relax and play yard games. Challenge your friends to play life-sized Battleship or Connect Four while sipping on a cocktail from the outdoor Paddle Bar. Craft cocktails include Bloody Marys, mango-jalapeno margaritas, sangria, sparkling strawberry lemonade and more. If you’re looking to cool down, there are two indoor bars to choose from in addition to an outdoor bar.
Chicken N Pickle has a full indoor restaurant complete with a two-level dining experience. The menu features shareable options, such as chicken wings, fried pickles and quesadillas. From the grill, diners can order the famous rotisserie chicken, as well as ribs or chicken and waffles. The restaurant also offers an array of sandwiches and smash burgers that are not to be overlooked. For those seeking a weekend brunch, savor classics like biscuits and gravy, french toast, scrambled eggs, avocado toast and acai bowls, with a Sunday brunch buffet coming soon.
Chicken N Pickle is open Monday to Friday, 11 a.m. to midnight; Saturday, 10 a.m. to midnight; and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
