Doughbird Now Open in North Central Phoenix

Doughbird recently opened its second Valley outpost, this time in North Central Phoenix (in addition to its recent Tucson opening). The new location showcases comfort food at its finest with hand-stretched and Detroit-style pizza along with classic rotisserie chicken.

The spacious floor plan of the newly opened Doughbird Phoenix has an illuminated bar center stage of the restaurant, draped with greenery along with an indoor-outdoor patio perfect for the cooler weather coming our way and a convenient to-go ordering and pick-up station.

Sip on unique craft cocktails like the Bourbon & Bells, which actually tastes like a red bell pepper, or play it safe with the Spicy Blackberry Margarita that is the perfect combination of sweet and spicy with an authentic blackberry flavor. Doughbird Phoenix also offers an extensive wine list and local craft beers to choose from.

The menu, of course, features the eatery’s signature hand-tossed pizza with the option to make it Detroit-style. Choose from classics like pepperoni and margarita or more gourmet options like Black Truffle Mushroom and Sweet Potato & Brussels Sprout. You can also add rotisserie chicken to any pizza for an additional charge.

Doughbird Phoenix’s famous rotisserie chicken comes in either a half or whole order with a side and sauce to pour over or dip your chicken into. Even if you order half of a rotisserie chicken, it is a generous portion that would be ideal for sharing. It’s important to note that this isn’t the basic rotisserie chicken you can pick up from the grocery store–Doughbird’s rotisserie chicken is juicy, falls off the bone and is seasoned to perfection.

Don’t miss out on Doughbird Phoenix’s happy hour deals Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. Nab $9 cocktails, $5 house wines and beers, along with discounted appetizers and desserts.
