La Fogata Kitchen & Bar

La Fogata Kitchen & Bar is one of the new dining concepts at The Scottsdale Resort & Spa, part of its multimillion-dollar renovation. The culinary evolution of the property includes multiple new restaurants, with La Fogata being the signature restaurant for the resort, situated in one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Scottsdale.

The revamped dining room at La Fogata at The Scottsdale Resort is hacienda-inspired, featuring an open-air kitchen with a wood-fire grill. Enjoy patio seating and panoramic views of McCormick Ranch Golf Club and Camelback Mountain, with stunning Arizona sunsets in the evenings.

Renowned Valley Chef Ken Arneson reimagined the menu at La Fogata, sourcing local ingredients for the Sonoran cuisine on the menu including guajillo chiles, white beans, meats and seasonal produce. Breakfast menu highlights include chile verde and eggs, banana-nut waffle and, for a healthier option, the Quinoa Power Bowl, made with two eggs, quinoa, lentils, shallots, tomato, zucchini and spinach.

For lunch at La Fogata, we recommend the Banh Mi steak salad made with arugula, petite heirloom tomatoes, pickled red onion, spiced pepitas, couscous ancient grain medley, Da Yaki-marinated steak and soy-ginger dressing. For something heartier, indulge in the KW brisket burger with melted Tillamook cheddar, an all-Angus beef patty, smoked bacon, smoked brisket, lettuce, tomato and onion, on a brioche bun and served with fries.

Appetizer standouts on the La Fogata dinner menu include beef carpaccio with seared A5 Wagyu, house-made mole meatballs and Sonoran Fire Elote with mesquite-grilled corn, house-made chorizo, chili aioli and cotija cheese, served with blue corn chips. Chef’s recommendations for dinner include a house-smoked double bone-in pork chop with smoked gouda mashed potatoes; a 21-day-aged New York striploin; and pasta albondigas made with fresh pappardelle pasta, bianco tomato, black truffle pecorino and garlic. An early fan-favorite has been the Meat & Potatoes.

The cocktail menu honors the Sonoran theme of La Fogata with the Prickly Pear Refresher, Saguro Sunset, Maude Mule, and Cowboy’s Old Fashioned. There is also a great selection of wines and beers available, offering something for everyone.
