The Valley’s newest spirits-forward cocktail bar comes in the form of BARCOA Agaveria—a Phoenix-based, agave-focused lounge that brings the flavors and flair of Mexico to life via thoughtful decor and a tequila stock that pays homage to the charm of South America.
Much like BARCOA’s fun, eclectic menu, its location and interior space is equally unique—settled in a historic Phoenix building and fitted with vibrant, thoughtful decor contributed from Mexican artisans.
From the colorful, hanging light fixtures and exposed brick walls to classic Corona tables, draping rope accents and, yes, even a one-of-a-kind agave bus for a spirited tasting on-the-go, each and every detail of BARCOA Agaveria has been thoughtfully planned out—including its extensive menu.
Tequila, mezcal and all things agave are seamlessly blended and paired at BARCOA Agaveria—with easy classics like the summer-ready Paloma or the Carajillo (think espresso martini with a can’t-miss twist), mezcal favorites like the La Luna Cupreata, and everything else from hard seltzers and straight tequila shots to flavorful vino like the Sierra Blanca Tempranillo—straight from Mexico with love.
Best of all (and depending on the occasion), visitors to BARCOA will also be treated to authentic food bites from Provecho, The Churchill’s beloved taco shop that partners with BARCOA during special events.

BARCOA Agaveria’s cantina open Tuesday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., Friday through Saturday from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. BARCOA’s Basement Bar is also open Wednesday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 5 p.m. to 12 a.m.
