Since opening its doors in 2013, EVO has brought the experiences and tastes of Italy to Old Town Scottsdale. With delicacies like the lobster gnocchi to casual bites like the EVO burger, EVO is the perfect place to meet with friends or enjoy a romantic evening for two.
Created by owner Nick Neuman, EVO was inspired by the comforts of his mother’s family home in Italy. The warm and welcoming environments and authentic dishes Neuman enjoyed during his time there inspired him to create a home away from home in Scottsdale, where he currently resides. The eatery focuses on providing recipes true to the Central and Northern regions of Italy and Milan, crafted with only the freshest, seasonal ingredients available.
The restaurant’s fare consists of light bites, dinner mains and authentic desserts. The Polpette, a fan favorite complete with house-made meatballs, pomodoro, Grana Padano and ciabatta, is the perfect way to start your dining experience or to begin your courses on a lighter, more spicy note, the grilled octopus crafted with spicy soppressata, fingerling potatoes and romesco is another must to try.
Whether you are in the mood for the Margherita pizza, house-made with fresh mozzarella, basil, San Marzano tomato and garlic, or the pan-seared prime filet, with potato fondant, blueberry glace, crispy shallots and grilled asparagus, EVO offers dinner options to suit every guest’s craving.
For those who save room for dessert, the eatery houses a multitude of sweet bites, like a classic tiramisu crafted with amaretto espresso, soaked ladyfingers, chocolate ganache and whipped espresso mousse, or an assortment of house-made gelato.
Each libation on EVO’s cocktail list is made with all-natural ingredients, no artificial sugars and only the highest quality shelf liquors. The servers are highly knowledgeable and will aid guests in pairing their meals with the best-suited drink, whether that be a handcrafted cocktail or a glass of beer or wine. We recommend trying the Kiss and Tell cocktail, a citrus-infused sparkling sip, complete with Belstar prosecco, Scottsdale’s own Blue Clover vodka, merlet cassis and lemon.
