The Rosticceria to Open in December

The Maggiore Group, known for local favorites Hash Kitchen, The Mexicano, The Sicilian Butcher and The Sicilian Baker, announces its latest concept: The Rosticceria. Set to open its doors on Dec. 13 in Phoenix, The Rosticceria marks the fifth addition to the group’s portfolio, further enhancing the dining scene in the Valley.

The Maggiore Group is known for over-the-top concepts and unique dishes, and The Rosticceria will carry on the legacy. The new Phoenix restaurant will showcase Abruzzo-style cooking, featuring a menu with Italian wood-fired meats, Neapolitan fried pizza, rotisserie chicken and porchetta, a savory pork roast. Guests can anticipate interactive experiences, including a build-your-own soft-serve gelato shake bar with over 40 toppings to choose from, as well as wearable alcoholic beverages served in Italian horns on gold chains.

“The inspiration for the new concept came from traveling through the Rome and Abruzzo regions with my wife Cristina and father Tomaso,” says Joey Maggiore, chef and co-founder of The Maggiore Group and Chef Joey Concepts, in a press release. “We loved the grilled meats and the porchetta, and I am still dreaming about it.”

Spanning over 5,000 square feet, The Rosticceria will offer both indoor and outdoor seating. The interior design, inspired by Roman relics and graffiti, will be led by Chef Maggiore’s wife, Cristina Maggiore. In addition, The Rosticceria will provide live entertainment for guests with an innovative DJ booth.
